Andrew And Tristan Tate Arrested in Miami on UK Charges of Rape and Sex Trafficking

Influencer Andrew Tate and Brother Tristan Arrested in Miami as UK Seeks Extradition Over Fresh R@pe, Stx Tr@fficking Charges Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, have been arrested in Miami, Florida, by the US Marshals Service following a request from British authorities seeking their extradition over fresh cr+minal charges.

While US marshals said they could not reveal the charges because the arrest warrant is sealed, the UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed it is pursuing the brothers' extradition to face prosecution in Britain.

According to the CPS, Andrew Tate is facing 42 charges, while Tristan faces 17, bringing the total to 59. The latest allegations include r@pe, arranging or facilitating tr@fficking for s+xual exploitation, and offences relating to indecent images of a child.

Announcing the new charges, Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said: "We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including r@pe, arranging or facilitating tr@fficking for s+xual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child."

He added: "The CPS has requested the extradition of the Tates from the US," explaining that the new charges followed fresh evidence submitted by Bedfordshire Police, increasing the number of alleged victims in the case to seven.

The brothers are also facing separate allegations in the UK and Romania, including r@pe, human tr@fficking, money la·ndering and tax evasion. Earlier this year, police in Hertfordshire also reopened an investigation into r@pe and stxual astault allegations made against Andrew Tate.

Responding to the arrests, the brothers' lawyer, Joseph McBride, maintained their innocence, saying: "They are innocent." He added, "We are confident that once a competent judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority, Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free."

The Tate brothers, who hold dual British and American citizenship, have also been under criminal investigation in Florida since March 2025, while Romanian authorities continue to pursue separate criminal cases against them.
